James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Lizzy Caplan star in the film. I am skeptical, as this film was primarily going to make most of it's money from DVD and streaming. It smells like a publicity campaign. On the other hand, I may have become mega-cynical. |

With the Sony hack, North Korea has demonstrated that is can get companies to bend to their will. It is pretty scary, and makes our Homeland Security folks look really inept as they praise the hackers as "sophisticated". It ticks me off that the stars of the movie are running scared. I'd go see it just on principle... and I haven't really enjoyed anything Seth Rogen has done to date. |

45 million budget, I don't think this is a publicity stunt. North Korea won, Sony lost. I am truly amazed. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Sony is a huge company able to afford what it takes to protect their business never needing the courts involved. My belief, you put a secret at risk of being discovered with those means, you don't deserve protection period. |

The reports I read said the information was much more extensive. Social Security numbers, payroll figures, copies of five new films, health information, Sony Pictures release plans for the next five years... It's deep. |

I saw the same...and that they had a whole lot more, even more sensitive information they threatened to release. No idea what that would encompass. Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has |
