My cable company has a set monthly rate for the first three years, and then they make special offers $60/$70/$80 a month for first three years basic cable TV + Equipment rental (DVRs, minimum of $10 per TV)+ fees $50/$60/$70 a month for first three years 110 Mbps $40/$50/$60 a month for first three years 25 Mbps $30/$40/$50 a month for first three years 10 Mbps $20/$25/$30 a month for first three years unlimited domestic calling (plus fees which are about $13/month) $100/$110/$120 a month for first three years cheapest triple play product I don't know how your rates compare. Cable makes more profit on the internet service, as they have no broadcast and cable affiliate fees to pay. Whatever equipment they need to invest in to get the higher download speeds is all in house. Generally, I think you are better off with expensive equipment that you write down. Internal costs tend to improve over time as almost all operations grow more efficient as you learn how to do things better. External fees have a tendancy to grow out of your control, because networks are trying to improve their efficiency. Cable delivery companies may be more profitable if people move all their TV purchases to individual online companies. But I think that they believe business services which include extra calling features and data backup in addition to internet are their future profit center. |

That sounds racist. How dare you. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

China sounds racist. I'm very offended. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon won all kinds of awards in the U.S., but was considered run of the mill in China, where wire action Wushu (historically based sword and kung fu epics) films are old hat. Perhaps the Chinese are saying the same thing about the film's they send here... |
