Well, your response escalated very quickly. You could have just left it at,"I ignore/don't care about it." This is about me getting unsolicited updates about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock thing, not that unsolicited rant tangent you just went on. I'm just going to respond to the very first part of your response. The unsolicited updates just automatically show up on my feed and there's no "leave me alone," option or a "Not interested in updates," option.

Blame YouTube's algorithms.

I too often get "unsolicited updates:" just YouTube's way of trying to give me what it thinks I want.

Update. Pun intended. ;) I finally stopped getting unsolicited updates about the Will Smith slaps Chris Rock thing. I had to click in an area and choose,"Not interested in Will Smith," and the unsolicited updates stopped. Thank God.
