So Long Late Show

The Late Show With David Letterman is winding up its run on CBS. It thought it was the best late night show, and will miss the classic bits, "Stupid Human Tricks", "Viewer Mail", throwing stuff off the top of a building, and the Top Ten List. The show's website used to run a contest where folks could submit entries to a suggested topic, and the top ten, as judged by the staff, would get published on the site and win a nice token prize. (T-shirt, mousepad, etc.). I am going to miss it.

I last saw letterman sometime in 1995. Then the cable company had to drop the stations carrying American networks.
