It was about halfway through the episode before Jimmy or Kim even showed up.

Good, they are the weakest links in the
show. Jimmy at this stage is a boring
pansy. He's obviously going to get
disbarred, that's how Saul Goodman
is born. I'm really tired of the goody
goody brother, Michael McKean.
I cannot look at him in any role he
plays and not think of his career high
as part of Lenny and Squiggy.

Yeah... not sure why he thinks "Saul" was practicing without a law license.

A major part of this show is Chuck and Jimmy always one-upping each other. Just when you think Chuck has the higher hand, Jimmy pulls one over on him. That's part of why it's so enjoyable to watch, for me anyway.

Currently Chuck has the higher hand... and he thinks he's going to get Jimmy disbarred. But it's clear Jimmy and Kim have something up their sleeve. Now we just wait to see what that is, and how Chuck reacts.

You cannot practice law in the US under
a pseudonym. So either Jimmy gets
disbarred and changes his name to get
another license under the radar, or he
changes his name legally to Saul Goodman
from Jimmy McGill and gets a license that way.

I can't stand the brother, Lenny always plays
the same jerky guy in every part he's had since
Lenny and Squiggy. The most boring actor on
TV. He's always condescending in every role.

He mentioned his real last name was McGill on Breaking Bad and said he only picked Goodman because it sounded Jewish.

This might be considered a minor spoiler for the rest of season 3:

Bob Odenkirk said in an interview that Jimmy will start using the name Saul Goodman sometime in season 3... but probably not as we (the viewer) expect

That's fine. You can't practice law under
a name that isn't legally yours, look
it up. People get disbarred for it. So
he either legally changed it to Goodman,
or got disbarred and is practicing under
a false name and never got caught.
I'm assuming he got disbarred. If not,
he had to get a court to change it and
he had to get a new license under that
name.

You can't call yourself Joe Smith if your
license says Jim Smith. It's fraud.

When I think about it, because he's always
in the same area, he would have to just
legally change his name. If he got disbarred
they all know who he is. It would only work
if he moved a thousand miles away. Lawyers
can write books or have social media names
other than their own, but any law they practice
has to be in the name on the license.

or, maybe it is just a fictional TV show where they can do whatever they want.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

Often a Legal Clinic can exist. He couldn't practice as Saul Goodman but he could practice as "Better Call Saul" legal clinic.

But he doesn't, in BB he does legal
business as Saul Goodman. He bails
people out, goes to court.
