Not sure but it was removed by a pro nature group that is determined to make sure everybody leaves our parks clean and pristine with no trash or structures. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Cold Cold Cold. Every character is unbelievably cold, although the AI characters developed their angry characters because of massive abuse. Bernard Lowe is not really likeable, but he is less psychotic than the others. Given the amount of nudity the coldness makes it strangely un-sexual. The exception being Clementine Pennyfeather. |

Watched ep 2. Oh. My. Dear. God. What a convoluted mess of claptrap nonsense. Why would anybody want to see more of this. I found a video that explains season 1 and it IS 'Lost' all over again. Puzzles within puzzles, nothing is as it seems and there's no rhyme or reason to it because the whole thing is click bait. It's written to lure you in and feed you nonsense so you keep watching HBO.. Just like Lost did for network TV. Screw that. I didn't even make it a third of the way thru this video, I was so disgusted. If you take a risk, you may lose. Likeable characters, good writing, good storyline. I worked in Silicon Valley in 1977, the year Elvis died. It was when I got back from living in Hawaii. Back then computers were using giant rolls of tape to store memory on and the company made the huge tape cassettes.. It was pretty nerdy even then, the guys who worked there. I hated the whole Valley area, uglier than a cows butt hole. Moved to Santa Barbara that fall. They made the giant tape cassettes for mainframes: If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

That looks similar to the first computer that I used. The only difference is that one has a computer monitor and the one I started on did not have a monitor. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I actually did a significant part of my graduate thesis on a computer with no monitor. God that was annoying. |

I don't remember it as being annoying, it was the only way it worked back then. I am sure some companies had monitors, but at that time I hadn't even seen one. I think I have told this before, but the first game I wrote was a checkers game. For every move you had to go to the card punch machine and punch a card with the from coordinate and the to coordinate. You would take that card to the other room and insert it into the card reader. After each move the computer would print out a whole new checkers board reflecting the move. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I bust out laughing a couple times in every ep. The writers really nail the quirkinesss of the nerd class.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
