At the end they drop Alan Rickman 4 stories into a giant air bag. The look of terror on his face is real because he was told he would be released at the count of 3 and he was released at the count of 1. The funny thing is, we all think of this as a Xmas movie and it's not. It was released as a summer blockbuster in July 1988.
