I finished season 2 of Stranger Things.

It was highly entertaining. I'd put it on par with season 1.

I am really loving this second season of Stranger Things. I really liked the first one as well.

I gave it another try last night. I had
forgotten what god awful actors the
kids are, except for the one girl. Goonies
they ain't.

In Stranger Things 2 set in 1984 Dacre Montgomery does his best impression of Rob Lowe in St Elmo's Fire (1985). It's shocking as Dacre was born in 1994, almost a decade after the movie was released.

OK, everybody here loves Stranger Things
so much I forced myself to watch the first
3 eps of season one.

I have in all seriousness never seen such bad
acting in one place on a TV show in my life. It's
painful to watch. Wynona Ryder is pitiful,
half the time her constant hand gestures
don't even match what's coming out of her
mouth. The kids are pathetic, they aren't even
good enough to be in a Saturday morning
cereal commercial. They're stiff and non
expressive, they step on each others lines
like they're in a school play.

The adults aren't much better. The older teens,
it's like they're reading their lines off of
cue cards. And if there's a story here I have
yet to spot it. The girl who plays 11 is OK
mainly because in 3 eps she's said about a
dozen words. If by the 3rd ep, in an 8 ep
season, they have not managed to make me
care about what happens to a single character,
that is a failure of a show. I take that back, I
wish somebody would shoot Winona Ryder
to get her to shut the F up. Good god..

Does anyone know of a way to find out what's currently streaming on Netflix? I've looked up some sites, but either they're out of date, or only consider "new" stuff.

Specifically i want to find out whether Netflix in Mexico is already showing season 3 of Rick and Morty, and whether they're already showing the new Trek series. Otherwise I've no reason to resubscribe.

Thank you!! That's a big help!

Now I get to agonize on whether to resubscribe now, or let one full season of newest Trek accumulate.... ;)
