uummmmm, not all of 'em. Some have over-siliconed themselves up to joke status. Lips, breasts...what a shame.

Yuk, I never watch those. I'm talking about
things like Exploited College Girls on PornHub.
There are tons of beautiful fresh faced girls
in porn now.

Has anyone seen Ascension? It's based on project Orion in the Kennedy era.

Master of None, orig Nflix. I lasted 16min of
the pilot. A very short Indian guy with a high
pitched obnoxious voice talking real fast
about I don't know what. I had to force
watch past 5 min. It felt like an hour. Makes
Kimmy Schmidt look excellent.

I saw Ascention. I enjoyed it, even knowing that it wasn't picked up as a series.

It's a one series show really.. it was pretty much done by the end of it's run. Started off very strong, ended up weak. I don't know if that was due to the limited number of episodes, so they got through all the story fast, or it kinda petered out in the writing room.

I saw Time Lapse on Netflix recently. Pretty cool time travel movie of a different kind, if you're into that (and I am). Three friends discover a fancy camera that automatically takes a Polaroid picture exactly 24 hours in advance. Suspense ensues. Movie is really high on character development and story, low on action or special effects. I'd watch again. After watching, I had to look it up online to figure out what the ending meant.

Also, Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal. Great acting and story. Gyllenhaal plays a crime scene photographer who goes through a Walter White-style transformation by the end. Absolutely would watch again.

Different than what. It's been done a couple
times, once on Twilight Zone. We talked about
it here a couple months ago.

The Roosevelts, a Ken Burns film.

What a treasure, what a treat. 14 hours
of photos and film from a fascinating era.
The quality of most them is so good
I'm shaking my head in wonder. 99%
I have never seen before, it makes the
late 19th and early 20th century come
alive. What a lot of work it must have
been, putting all this together. The
research alone must have been staggering.
What a piece of work to leave for future
generations.

Up to episode 4 of The Roosevelts, loving every
minute of it. I've learned so much, and I already
knew a lot to begin with. The amount of history
we have in photos and film from that era is
massive. Even film from1900. I've never felt
closer to a past generation. I take solace in the
fact that this miniseries was the most streamed
on PBS last year. That people are interested in
this very important part of our history gives
me hope for us as a country.
