but I would say that it is higher than the generally accepted percentage of the American population of around 3.8%. T\

My hat is off to you. The leader of your
church says: 'a significant segment of the
Catholic clergy' is Gay, and you have
interpreted that to mean more than the
average of 3%. You consider that 'significant'.

I can find dozens and dozens of reliable
sources that say it's at least 50%. My
question still stands. Why does your god
'call' so many Gay men to the priesthood.
Are they special, smarter, more holy, what.

It's an intriguing question, if we can just get
past the denial stage.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

It's a fact the Church institutionalized guilt.
They turned it into a highly profitable
business. You're (FrG) a guilt salesman for the
Church. Your job is to constantly remind
parish members what they're supposed
to feel guilty about. If you don't realize
that, you really are in a serious state
of denial.

One of my fave Easter threads. I love
to get into the true meaning of Easter
and the fun the Church seems to get
out of nailing poor ol Jesus back on
that cross every year. Never forget,
they'll say, he died for YOU! (guilt
guilt guilt)
