It surprised me also. It's something I've always wondered about, my dad was a big Edgar Cayce fan when I was a kid. I know about regression, but I always considered that a flawed way to get information. The way the UofV has approached it is the right way. It leaves little room for error, and shows beyond doubt that there is something to reincarnation after all. I've wondered all my life why people don't really worry about their loved ones after they die. I've never heard anybody say, wringing their hands in anguish, that they worry that their son/ husband/father didn't end up in hell. Or that they hope they're all right, wherever they are. It's like they know everything is OK, no need to worry. I never think about all the people I've known that are gone. It's like I instinctively know they're OK, I don't have to worry, they've moved on. If this research is correct, and my gut tells me it is, they have indeed moved on. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Now if someone comes along and can point out where to dig for a pharaoh's treasure, that would pretty cool. In fact, lots of things have been lost, and perhaps are as near as a few feet under the soil somewhere. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I have felt since I was a kid that reincarnation would explain the unfairness of life. How one child is born perfect, and another has crippling defects. On the next rebirth, it will be entirely different. On and on, the mystery of life unfolds itself. Nobody can dismiss this research and it's findings, unless you have an axe to grind. Which many people do, unfortunately. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I'd like to enter a pool as to how long he'll last. I'm predicting he'll be cut before the season starts. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Indonesia executes so many possibly because they believe they will come back as a bug; that its not really death. Its all absurd of course. And about as provable as the proper way to wear a hat. |

In the pharaoh's tomb, whatever it might be and wherever it happens to be. The problem is grave robbers have likely already been there. Now, if I were Cleopatra's reincarnation, I'd be able to tell you where Alexander's tomb was. That would be worth knowing. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

That's because adults have no idea what they did last time. Some of the kids who remember did indeed have a previous nefarious life. The research scientists say reincarnation is not provable, but the evidence strongly points to it. They use tobacco as an example. There is no proof that it causes cancer, yet the evidence saying it does is irrefutable. They say much of medicine is not based on proof, but on volumes of evidence. FrG keeps saying creation is evidence that there is a god. Problem is, there's no evidence that it is a creation. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Here's what Billy Graham says about reincarnation: "No matter how long we lived—or how many lives we had—we could never erase the stain of sin that keeps us from God. In other words, we could never reach perfection. But God loves us and has provided the way for all our sins to be forgiven. That way is Jesus Christ, who died as the one final sacrifice for our sins." That pesky sin, just can't shake it. I saw this coming a mile away.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Henry Ford on reincarnation in 1928: "I adopted the theory of Reincarnation when I was 26. Religion offered nothing to the point. Even work could not give me complete satisfaction. Work is futile if we cannot utilize the experience we collect in one life in the next. When I discovered Reincarnation it was as if I had found a universal plan I realized that there was a chance to work out my ideas. Time was no longer limited. I was no longer a slave to the hands of the clock. Genius is experience. Some seem to think that it is a gift or talent, but it is the fruit of long experience in many lives. Some are older souls than others, and so they know more. The discovery of Reincarnation put my mind at ease. If you preserve a record of this conversation, write it so that it puts men's minds at ease. I would like to communicate to others the calmness that the long view of life gives to us." If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
