If you knew Mrs Mosca...

She goes to church 4 times a week. She plays slots, not tables. She rarely swears, and is proud to have never said the f-word in her life. She used to drink a little, but now doesn't drink at all.

When Mad Max: Fury Road ended, she turned to me and said, "That was some crazy shit."

It is basically a two hour car chase. There is no character development... well, what character development there is, is driven by the plot, and is all that is needed. But there is a lot going on thematically.

I recommend this film. In fact, I think it represents a turning point for action movies, in that the action and plotting serves a higher calling than spectacle. I hesitate to say more because I'm not skilled at walking the line between trailer-information and spoiler. But I guarantee, you will not fall asleep during this one.

Already have just thinking about it.
I always FF thru chases, they are
planned right down to the smallest
detail and as such, have no redeeming
features. I remember everybody was
enthralled by the car chase in Bullitt.
I slept thru it at the drive-in.

I prefer the car chase in the 7ups

Loved all the Mad Max movies.
Liked part 1, kind of a budget movie but done well
Part 2 totally rocked
Part 3 very good but a little cheesy with Tina Turner

Looking forward to part 4

You very well may not like it. But the chase is completely integral thematically. This movie could not be made any other way. It has all the intensity of Blackhawk Down. And, it has this:

LOL.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Is it better than Vanishing Point?
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

Old pearl of Wisdom: when you have nothing nice to say about something other people are enjoying, it's best to say nothing.

Therefore:

Nothing. ;)

I'm not a chaos type person. I loved
classical music as a teen and hated
rock. Am still that way. I don't like
war movies, martial arts, or anything
that's violent. Sinatra is my favorite
singer, my wife hates him. I've always
loved reading and quiet places, that's
my ideal vacation. And drinking, of
course.
