A turn for the better. Did not start out that way. digital radio went nuts on way to Dr as Josies hand swelled twice its size. Could not turn off, not on a station, loud static. Finally found a CD under seat, put it in. No idea where it came from Out blast this song. I took it as a good sign...

Doc says rest wrist all weekend, xray again on Monday. Head to Magnet Dr. He actually had got approval for magnets already and has Josie scheduled for mapping tomorrow. Apologized for side effect. Olanzaprine his Friday afternoon go to drug. Helps people till Monday. Never had a reaction at 5mg however.
I mean Josies fear of dementia. Low and behold he and a colleague at Harvard developed a computer program to test memory. He will test Josie before mapping tomorrow and after treatments YEAH Josie broke down and had to walk her to car, Girl who will do treatments came to car and comforted Josie, set treatment for 2 pm daily.
So I will have to put job search on hold for a while.
Speaking of jobs this is a small town. Someone at church who's daughter work at Startek found out somehow I had file with EEOC, her daughter spoke to a manager there and I am invited to come down and they will explain exactly why I did not get hired. HAHA
Tells me EEOC has notified them of my complaint.

Some churches provide teenage girls as 'home assistants' and Medicare does have a category for 'visiting nurse services' once there is a determination that the subject is not medically able to travel to doctor's appointments (even if the condition is temporary). Covers: Physical therapist, Occupational Therapist, Visiting Nurse Supervisor. By 'occupation' they mean someone who can provide "hints and tools" to aid in daily activities of personal hygiene, food preparation, etc.

I do not know if inability to travel without escort qualifies.

I do know that I would often be embarassed when elderly women sitting on a bench at Walmart would rise and offer me a seat and ask if I was alright.

Its never easy HAHA Josie woke up yesterday with a black furry tongue ? Side effect of antibiotic. Thrush, except 2 doctors said it's always white ? Anyway, lozingers working. Tried computer memory baseline yesterday as well. Seems like Windows XP no long supports Magnet Doc's program. He will get new computer. Also Josie's hand swelled twice it's size. Tried mapping for an hour NO GO.

Go back today, swelling gone, but hand tremors. 1 hour mapping, no go. Josie did computer memory baseline test. Despite my telling her 5 or 6 times there is no pass/fail score, she was in tears thinking she failed. Memory shot. No idea what day it is, Found out from daughter, Josie sworn her to secrecy, says not fair to me, if not better, she will put herself in some sort of home.

WHAT A SWEETHEART... Anyway, Doc confident he can finish mapping Monday and give her first treatment.

When I started at AT&T L4 cable was the newest 22 cables in each tube 10 each way & 1 for protection each way. 1440 conversation per cable in each direction. 14,400 long distance circuits. Long Distance was expensive $3-$10 a minute in USA International FORGEDABOUTIT.

That was 1969. Late 1980's fiber came along. 100,circuits per cable. Or rather by each of 12 strands per cable. By end of 90's was million plus per color light wave per strand. That's why all them damn call centers are in India now.

What has this to do with anything. Well, us old dogs referred to light guide as PFM Pure F***ing Magic.

Well Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is PFM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After second treatment felt better. Now remeber before first treatment Josie could not keep track of what day it was. After I told her, no we are no going there tommorrow. It's Friday, not Saturday or something like that, by the 3rd or 4th time it happened I could see the pain in her eyes. After treatment #3 she rescheduledsomething from next Monday to this Friday, to be prepared to do something this coming Monday. PMF in that MAX.

All be herself, no input from me...

Shrinks who want to charge for talking to her about her childhood vote against magnets.
Even neurologists captured by the drug companies slush funds vote against magnets.
But Patients and Care givers alike vote for stuff that WORKS.
