Disney does not support Amy Shumer's photo shoot. Well no kidding! We didn't exactly need a press release for that.

“Princess Leia was never supposed to be an object of sexual desire, she was a space girl dressed in a bikini for space reasons: because it’s hot in space,” said a rep from Disney. “This GQ cover is pulling this out of nowhere, implying that fans of Star Wars think of Princess Leia in a slave costume as sexy, which is insane.”

The premiere of season 3 of Friends, "The One with the Princess Leia Fantasy" September 19, 1996.

I do think Amy Shumer can be very funny, and her catchprase is "I am a 160 pounds and I can catch a RICHARD anytime I want". Which is no surprise to men, who wonder why any normal woman can't get laid whenever.

She recently praised the magazine for not photoshopping her body and making her look thinner. I mean, could you imagine James Corden issuing a press release and thanking a photographer for leaving in his double chin?

I mean these two are comedians. Who expects them to look like gods and goddesses?
