Every Uber driver I ask has stories from passengers
about bad Uber drivers. Sorry if that rocks your
fantasy world about Uber, but it's the reality.

Well done trawling the internet for negative comments. Anyone can cherry pick anything to prove their point. Unfortunately you haven't come close to proving anything.

As you know I drive Uber and I've never heard anything remotely like what you go on about. If your tales were widespread reality then Uber and other ride sharing services wouldn't be gaining market share at a rapid rate.

Cabs are dead. There's your reality. Just be thankful that you got out in time.

I don't have to prove anything, Uber will
bury itself. Even some of the drivers
admit Uber is an awful company and
Lyft is better. Uber treats it's drivers
like crap, they'll get rid of you at the
drop of a hat. Uber is getting a very
bad reputation for over charging and
gouging customers whenever they
feel like it. Even Uber drivers say they'll
let anybody drive, it embarrasses some
of them, the stories they hear from
passengers.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Yet you keep using Uber and not Lyft.

They are one and the same here. Every
driver has an Uber and a Lyft sign on
his window. I find these amateur drivers
immensely entertaining. They are giving
rides to strangers in the same car they
take their kids to school in and many of
them resent the hell out of it.

Not at all. It costs me $36 dollars to park
my car at the airport for 3 days. I can take
an Uber round trip for $18. I delight
in telling drivers how they are getting
ripped off royally compared to cab drivers.
And hear them complain about how much
money they aren't making.

EB, why aren't you taking a taxi to the airport? I do understand not wanting to park at the airport but I would expect you to support the taxi business.

The only taxis serving the airport
are the airport taxis now, and they
are a ripoff. It would cost more to
take them than to park my car
there. If citizens are willing to give
me rides in their cars for what cabs
were charging 25 years ago, and run
their cars into the ground doing it,
who am I not to take advantage of
it while it lasts.

I would not go back and back to a business that abused me so.

Don't you know lip-service is far cheaper than acting on principle?
