If you think it's abuse, you haven't known real abuse. I was in the business, this type of thing goes with the territory. Uber has more of it because they don't vett drivers. I can handle it, like I said, I find it entertaining. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Wait a minute! You have said forever how cabbies were more vetted and more professional. Now they aren't? The President is a fink. |

I had no idea he was riding with them to save money. The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

"The reason I would never call Uber is I don't want to ride in some civilians car who might be the worst driver for a radius of 50 miles." Hint: He is likely to have been the one that said Walmart is so busy that no-one will go there. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

From the Greeter to the cashiers to the customers. Just an odd high percentage of oldsters. Almost like an episode of Twilight Zone, with no one under 50. Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25010 | My Uber to the airport this afternoon was a middle aged guy from Malaysia who barely spoke English. His phone was on the dash on speaker, and he spent the whole ride answering call after call and shouting into the air in a totally gibberish language. The. Entire. Trip. I've had worse trips, at least he didn't try and over charge me. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I hope the driver didn't shout a foreign language into a phone the whole way. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25010 | Got picked up at the airport by a nice guy from the Dominican Republic. He actually got out of his car and opened the trunk for my bag and opened my door. No other Uber has ever done that, acted like professional driver. He said he hears passenger complaints all the time about bad Uber drivers, almost every day. It's a weeding out process, the bad ones don't last long. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
