This is just avoidance on your part, deal with the arguments not what you think you know about me. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

There is the same amount of evidence for God as there is for unicorns, leprechauns and trolls Your faith and statements that there can be no other explanation other than God for the creation of the universe are not evidence |

Because no part of god, or Superman, or Thor, fits into the laws that govern this universe. You can blather on about how god exists 'outside' of these laws, but because you can't prove it, it's just that. Blathering nonsense.
I never said 'because', I said it as an aside. A curious reference. A pleasant observation. None of which can be said about your disastrous death worshiping religion.
Frankly, you wouldn't know real logic if it bit you on your hindquarters and didn't let go for a week. Your logic takes all of science and boils it down to some fuzzy wuzzy love filled 'being' that sits out there somewhere loving us like crazy, yet letting kids in Africa starve to death or die of a mosquito bite, while caring deeply that Gay people never have Gay sex or get married. Do you know how twisted and demented that is? Why would anybody go near a psychopath god like that unless they were brainwashed into it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Is the motion of the universe not evidence that there is cause? Is the fact that the material world exists and is contingent for its existence not evidence for a cause? I don't understand how you can keep saying there is no evidence for God? It really is kind of basic and has nothing to do with religion or faith. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

So you weren't indoctrinated as a kid, is that what you're saying? You came to all these disastrous conclusions as a thinking reasoning adult? That's just plain frightening. At least if you were a kid, that's some kind of a defense. But doing it on purpose as an adult, you have no excuse. That's what my ex priest friend Ed did. He bought into all the nonsense in college and went to seminary and became a priest. His 4th year in the priesthood it started to dawn on him that it was all garbage and none of it was true. To this day he's horribly embarrassed he was ever that naive. We all make mistakes. At least he redeemed himself and became a math teacher and made a real difference in the world. He says he never did that as a priest by dispensing fairy tales and nonsense. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

If you want an example for reverse engineering of an argument look no further. Bob has put his conclusion right at the start. At least you are letting us all know where you are heading because you have already made up your mind with no evidence, no argument, nothing. Classic.
You don't get it do you? How many times and in how many ways can I tell you that this is not about me or Christianity. You are just using your unjust hatred and misunderstanding of my religion to avoid dealing with the inescapable and clear evidence that there is of necessity a supernatural all-powerful reality that is the cause of all that has begun to exist. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

What is disastrous about the conclusion that there is a God? Why do you think the reasoning isn't sound? “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Never seen anybody leap a building in a single bound, or walk on water. Have you? That's what I thought..
But of course it is, you just wish it wasn't. How do you explain the super highly educated scientists in the UK who are 92% atheist. They just look at the logical facts. You look at the same facts thru your ultra biased Xtian filters and think your being 'logical;. You are not. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Because it makes no sense that we're ruled by and surrounded by the laws of nature, and with a wave of your hand you get rid of these laws when it comes to your god. These laws are laws because they always apply, no matter the circumstances. But just like the authors of the Superman comic books, you can make him and your god do anything you want because it's all made up. Quit it, make sense. Act like you understand logic and stop reinventing it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I don't understand what you mean by this. You've never seen an electron or the center of the Sun. Have you? That's what I thought...
They all fit in one or more of the previous categories I mentioned for atheists.
Which is why 100% of them would never deny some cause they don't understand is the first cause of the universe and all that exists. I imagine 0% of them would hold to the idea that material things are eternal. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |
