You say it with such pride. A major
world religious figure totally disses
your religion and you take it as a
compliment. Unbelievable and
embarrassing.

"Oh Bob, you just don't understand
my religion." I understand enough
to be disgusted by it. My wife's
family is still on their knee's in
awe that my father in laws fave
song came on the radio Fri 1 min
after he died. They are still crowing
to anybody who will listen that it
was a miracle from god.

Xtionity is the ego driven me me me
religion, it's all about them. They
are the center of their gods universe,
the apple of his eye. Kids are starving
and dying by the minute in Africa
and they think some god spoke to
them because an old man who
spent half his life making people
miserable with his Baptist rantings
died. Sooo glad I'm an atheist and
can see the world for what it is.

The fact that you can write that is more proof of Ghandi's statement. By the way I don't look at it as a diss. In fact anytime my Lord Jesus Christ is praised it is awesome and brings me great joy.

You couldn’t have Christians without first having Christ, no amen from me. The most, “Christian,” people I’ve ever met tend to either be Jewish or Atheists/Agnostics.

Of course not, you'd have to
look at what a miserable
joke your religion is if
you saw the statement
for what it is. When you
can hear Xtions talking
among themselves and
they don't know you're
listening, they are insufferably
smug and condescending.
Patting themselves on the
back for how smart they are
and how incredibly stupid
non believers are. They're
hubris is breathtaking to
behold.

That's what Ghandi was
talking about.

That's very true. There is far
more honesty coming from
atheists than you'll ever hear
coming out of a Xtian's mouth.
Xtian's always have an agenda
they don't tell you about.

My wife has sent me half a
dozen reactions from people
about the 'miracle' that happened
at her fathers dying bedside.
Her agenda is, look, this is a
bonafide miracle, aren't you
ashamed you aren't a Xtian?

I want to tell her to look up the
word 'coincidence', but why
bother. If you look for miracles
you'll find them in abundance.
I just saw a kind of bird at my
feeder I've never seen before.
Thank you, Jesus!! That would
be my sister in laws reaction.

Hubris and pride is the root of all sin and it is definitely not exclusive to Christianity.

Gee, who said it was. But they sure
could get a patent on it if they applied.
Or at least a trademark. I saw it on
open display when I was a Christian
but because I was part of it I didn't
really care.

When I was an atheist you should have heard the prideful things I used to say about other's beliefs.
