A US airport named after a Muslim. I'm ok with it, I was a big Ali fan Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Elisha David Standiford (December 28, 1831 – July 26, 1887) was a United States Representative from Kentucky. He was born near Louisville, Kentucky. The airport will probably maintain it's code SDF. I don't expect any backlash as Ali is a big part of American culture. Any conservative anger burnt out in the 1960's when he refused to be drafted and changed his name from Cassius Clay. |

Drones have been around for at least a decade now. You would think that the FAA would have some contingency plan in place other than shutting down one of the busiest airports in the world. |

DRich Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 51 Posts: 4944 | Hopefully TerripinEd or someone else can help me. I have an international flight on Delta coming up on a 757-200 with a 90 minute layover in Atlanta. With such a short layover and having to deal with customs and immigration I want to get off of the plane as soon as possible. I booked row 1 thinking that it would be the first one off the plane but now I am hearing that some of the 757-200's have the door behind first class. Would I be better switching my seats to Row 5 to get off first? At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Seatguru shows that all 5 delta configurations of B757 have an exit row in front of aisle 1 and an exit row behind first class. Presumably there is less of a scramble in front of first class because there are no economy class passengers competing for the exit. |

Go to seatguru.com My clients use it, I use it. Fabulous website Hopefully not on the last connection of the day I often advise clients of next flight out of ATL if they miss their connection so they know ahead of time Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Aussie Member since: May 10, 2016 Threads: 2 Posts: 458 | 90 min is plenty of time. MCT for domestic to international at ATL is 40 min. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta-air-lines-skymiles/579051-minimum-connection-transfer-time-atlanta-atl-definitive-thread.html |
