I definitely expect more mistakes now than what we have had recently. Hopefully the ATC is prepared to deal with it.

The Embraer Legacy 600 is a business jet derivative of the Embraer ERJ 145 family of commercial jet aircraft. The Legacy 600 (market designation adopted after 2005) is based on the ERJ-135 model. It was launched in 2000 at the Farnborough Airshow as the "Legacy 2000". The Legacy carries 13 passengers in three partitioned sections for 3,050 nautical miles or 8 passengers for 3,450 nautical miles . It features added range via extra fuel tanks in the tail behind the baggage compartment and forward of the wing, winglets, and an extensive drag reduction program. It is certified to 41,000 feet altitude versus 37,000 feet for the airline configuration. The Legacy Shuttle can seat 19 to 37 in airline-style seats but without the range.
Number built 283 (as of 31 December 2018)
Unit cost 650E: US$25.9 million(2016)

I always thought I would want a plane similar to an ERJ-145 for my private plane. The downside is that plane has a very short range.

Introduced in October 2018, the Praetor 500/600 are variants of the Legacy 450 and 500, respectively, with more range.
Range 4 pax @ LRC: 4,018 nm
Range 4 pax @ M0.80: 3,719 nm
MMO (Maximum Mach Operation): MMO 0.83
High Speed Cruise: 466 ktas
Takeoff distance @ 4 pax / full fuel: 4,436 ft
Takeoff Distance @ MTOW: 4,717 ft
Landing Distance: 2,165 ft
Maximum Operating Altitude: 45,000 ft
Unit cost P600: US$21 million

One of our company planes is a Challenger 600 series with a range of about 4,500 miles. I think I would want a little bit bigger plane. Maybe something that would hold 20-25 passengers with a 5000 mile range.

I may have to wait until next year when the G700 is released. Sadly, I think it is limited to 19 passengers.

That actually makes some sense if it has a big diameter.

Specifications (Challenger 650)

CL-650: US$32.35 million with most used jets selling for ~$20 million

Titan Aviation has added a Europe-based Challenger 650 to its fleet of nearly 30 managed aircraft. The large-cabin CL650 can carry up to 12 passengers, two pilots and one flight attendant a total of 4,600 nm, or eight hours, non-stop, enabling transatlantic flying.

“By adding this jet to our fleet, we can offer multiple options to our valuable charter clients, most of whom have many passengers on any given trip,” says founder and chairman Sakeer Sheik. “Our nearest competitor cannot carry so many passengers on such long sectors.”

The Challenger series has accumulated more than four million flight hours. “We found that the CL650's proven track record is very attractive, combined with lower operating costs and excellent passenger comfort,” adds Sheik.

Titan Aviation recently opened its United States headquarters at Morristown Municipal airport, just west of New York City, as well as a south Florida office at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport.

It seems as if the Challengers 650 is capable of TransAtlantic flights with 12 passengers. It seems like a huge jump in price to step up go the Global Express, some versions of which could fly 20 people TransAtlantic. Is it really worth the massive difference in price? How many friends/colleagues do you have?

Unit cost Global Express
5000: $50.44 million
6000: $62.31 million
5500: $46 million
6500: $56 million

It shows a banked edge on the round runway. I am not sure that is practical with the wingspan and clearances to the ground of the engines. Maybe on perfect a landing but we all have seen pretty bouncy landings.
