Of course she got punished. Politicians never have to live with the mess that bringing in refugees causes. Neither do the academics and other liberals who are in favor of more and more of them. Then those groups call the ones whose neighborhoods turn into a foreign society "RACIST."

This is a huge part of what is driving Trump. All the other candidates are promising more refugees and more illegal immigration. Trump is saying he is not in favor of it. Who has the energy at their rallies?
The President is a fink.

"We are very sorry Sir, but Europe has exceeded her refugee capacity for this month. ... Yes we do understand that you will be tortured and killed upon your return to Syria, and we are also sorry for your lovely daughter that will be used as a sex slave. But we are truly fully booked."

In reality: We ain't sorry at all. If you will be tortured and killed its because that is the kind of country you have created. We are the ones who are sorry about your daughter, but in your culture she is of little value. Its not that we are fully booked, just fully fed up with this nonsense that you can flea 'for economic reasons' the country you've created when it is simply your faction is losing the battle.

That is your thinking. And that is why I am damn proud to live in a country where this thinking is that of a minority.

The ruling coalition paid a heavy price yesterday - they lost the extreme right wing and a new right wing extremist party is now sitting in three states' parliaments getting 10 - 25% of the vote.

But it also shows something else: The vast majority of Germans stand behind international law, international treaties, human rights, our commitment to help people in need and our responsibility for the mess the West has in part created in the Middle East and elsewhere. All the three Ministerpräsidenten (similar to a Governor in the US) that won the election yesterday were firm and outspoken supporters of these policies and these prinicples and Merkel refugee policy - even across party lines.

One candidate from Merkels party, that tried to establish herself as an outspoken critic of Merkels refugee policy, managed to blow a 10% lead over the last few months and lose to the opposition candidate who praised Merkel for her positions (despite being from a different party).

Also, I believe that the support for the anti-refugee party has already peaked. The more time passes the more people will realize that life goes on as usual, and they will calm down. However, looking to some neighboring countries in Europe, right wing extremism has had a renaissance in the last decade, with strong parties in France, the Netherlands, Denmark. So the phenomenon is here to stay and the democratic mainstream will have to deal with it. We will.

So many stories now of the complete failure
of Germany letting in so many undocumented
Muslim refugee's. Many people are afraid to
leave their own homes.

The German Press/German Police cover up of over a thousand rape victims on New Year's Eve fell apart and that has not helped matters since it protected over a thousand rapists from Islamic countries..

Man, the linked articles were so bad, it was difficult to even factcheck them. But they sure give their audience what they would like to read. Anyway, most Germans are clever enough to understand that we cannot blame the vicitims of terror, that come to Europe for safety and protection, for the acts of the terrorists they are fleeing from.

Mail online: "Merkel's premiership is hanging by a thread today as thousands gathered to call for her resignation while a key political ally dramatically withdrew his support over immigration policy."
Gee, I wonder if that is true. Let us look at the numbers: Right now, the ruling coalition has a comfortable majority of 58% in the polls. That is down from 67% in the federal election in 2013 though. It remains troubling that the right wing extremists poll around 10%.

Scores of articles about how Germany is
revolting against the immigrant crisis.
All of them untrue, of course. Germany
loves them some Muslims, the more
the better. Another million by the end
of the year! Better you than us..
