The " Zero Hedge", has lowered its standards, but it is still a wonderful news source with an impressive search engine. I think it's the best alternative news source available. I also respect, http://jessescrossroadscafe.blogspot.com/. The web is having troubles tonight but the cafe is well worth perusing for pertinent news. The west needs to get it's news from somewhere besides the mainstream media.

[Slightly OT: If you look at the election polls as a whole, they weren't that wrong. The night before the election fivethirtyeight gave Trump a 30% chance of winning the presidency. I was thinking to myself "Why aren't progressive people freaking out right now?" Because they can't read forecasts, that's why. "Duh, Trump is 30%, Clinton is 70%, that means Clinton is going to win." Idiots.]
