I am not sure what the next option is at this point, perhaps it may be a nuke. if it is not, I think that the normal pattern for suspensions should be followed. I see this as no reason to step outside the norm. He has insulted people and he starts way too many threads, but the forum is a bit more interesting when he is around. He hasn't threatened anyone or anything like that, as far as I have seen.

I do think he may be that person from the other site; since they are two different things, it does not really matter.

He is definitely Joeshlabotnik, who is definitely mkl654321. And as they are two different things, you're right. It doesn't matter.

Jumping from a month to nuke isn't "outside the norm". For sure there have been folks who have been 2monthed, 4monthed, a year'd, but mkl's criteria does not match theirs. B9, for example, could and did post normally. Crimm could and did. But mkl's "normal" is ferociously intense, always has been. When you can get him in a certain zone, like perhaps his latest explanation to me about the ills of conservatism, or a way-back post of mkl's I remember speaking about whether healthcare was an American birthright, I find him blisteringly intelligent, and though I may be horrified at his infinitely-hyper socialistic views, I very much enjoy what he brings. But he seems unable, or IMO unwilling, to shape his rants to focus on ideals and instead birdshots every person standing within the vicinity of that which he hates.

It's this latter that leads me to believe he has about 5 posts left in his career, and for that, I am saddened. Especially since I'll be gone when he returns and I'll never get to converse with him. I can think of a billion things I'd like his take on, if only he could stop trying to word punch everyone to literal death.

Means I'm only here now cuz we got a day off due to Sunday holiday, and when he comes back I'll be back in the 0600 to 2000+ grind with no time / energy to post. And if the grind should so happen to end, I've fulfilled my yearly financial-bad-decision quota and will be on vacation.
