Thank's for the warning.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I know from the trailer that it is a dark time-loop movie. Sort of a groundhog's day where the groundhog eats your face. Happy Death Day (2017) was also a dark time-loop movie made on a $5 million production budget. I don't think Netflix looks at $5 million productions. |

I'm tired of time loop productions, it's such a cliched idea now. It's right up there with the butler did it whodoneit books, it's been done to death. The only one I like now is Edge of Tomorrow. It has a high budget, big stars, and a great story. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I may have found the first one. A 25 minute TV show in 1990 (three years before Groundhog Day) starring Kurtwood Smith from Robocop. The writer and producer of this short (12:01) considered suing the producers of Groundhog Day for stealing their idea, but eventually decided that they probably wouldn't win. The short story was written in 1973. |
