I ever send a text, slap me. I used to say
if you think you have a boring life, get
a video camera and you'll verify it. Texting
what you're doing every minute of the
day is just verifying that you have no
real life.

Texting is the most superior form of communication, and it's not even close.

I can send and/or receive all the info I need in the time it takes just to connect by phone, let alone actually speak to someone. It also prevents the recipient from catching me up in a bunch of jaw flapping that I don't give a s#$$ about and haven't the time for. Plus, it all happens as I want it. I never get disrupted by a text. It just sits there until I am ready.

The only time a phone call is superior is if you, for some reason, have too much info to send. Even those situations I can usually bang out by succinct type.

Texting the minutiae of your mundane life, yeah, I'll agree that's stupid.
