All Angels Are Male!!!

I was watching one of my fave Meg Ryan-Nick Cage
movies, City of Angels. Cage plays an angel who falls
in love with Meg Ryan and 'falls' to earth to be with
her. Very nice story, well done and acted. I've seen it
many times but never noticed all the angels in the scenes
where there are lots of them, are always male.

So I looked it up:

In fact, a feminine form of angelos does not exist. There are three genders in grammar—masculine (he, him, his), feminine (she, her, hers), and neuter (it, its). No angel ever appears in Scripture dressed as a female."

It's misogyny in all it's glory! The Christian religion
is the original all male club, right down the to the
priests and angels. Sure, the Catholics threw in Mary
much later to appease the goddess worshiping pagans,
but the utter dismissal of women in the religion is
blatant and odorous.

Since you are an atheist why do you care?

Well, there is a lot of documentation about female demons,
demons are fallen angels,
therefore there were female angels.

That doesn't say anything about if there are any now.

Angels are not female or male. They are spiritual beings.

Hast thou never seen "Dogma"? Metatron drops trou and is as smooth as Ken. No gender, though all the rest of his features are male.

Which is fitting, I suppose, as Metatron was a male human before his ascension to angel status. Or so say the Heebs. I dunno. It's all Greek to me...

Did you tell the crew on the ship that they were doing a bad job in a bad industry? Do you post about cruise ships that you do not care about and start thread after thread about them?

Seriously, why do you care about the specifics of religion when you profess it to be a bad idea in the first place time after time. Why keep starting new threads about it to just say negative points?
