Shrug
Dennis Hastert led the Republican Party
He's a lot more disgusting
Its about the cause, not the people.

Bottom line times have changed
There use to be a time when republicans were for less laws and pro business
Times have changed
Republicans are passing so many absurd laws now they are viewed as anti-business

A law says a proprietor is allowed to make women feel more comfortable by keeping men out of the ladies room.

Please explain how that is anti-business again?

I still don't get it. PayPal wants to be political hypocrites leaving because they do not like a law. Fine for them. But the law did nothing to make it harder for them to do business like a $15 minimum wage or Obamacare.

Same companies that do not like the law are usually happy to do business in countries that kill homosexuals as a matter of law so seriously, I don't get where it is anti-business.

Telling women that there men can barge into the ladies room with them, now that is anti-business.

The International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators, Johnstone Supply, the Matria Tech Leadership Conference and the N.C. State Library Conference cited HB2 in canceling their events, which were mostly scheduled at hotels in downtown Raleigh. In addition, the GIS-T Symposium, a gathering of state transportation officials, cut the number of attendees expected at its conference because of HB2. Combined, the bureau reports that Wake has lost out on an estimated $732,000 in economic benefits.

Germany's biggest bank, which employs 900 people in a software centre in Cary, North Carolina, had planned to hire a further 250 staff by 2017. But the lender on Tuesday said those plans had been put on hold after North Carolina passed a measure that excludes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people from anti-discrimination protections.

Well it is sad to see these bigoted institutions taking their business elsewhere because they do not believe in personal freedom. But what can you do, the LGBT has always been an intolerant movement and no reason to see them change their tactics. That still does not make it an "anti-business" law. The law puts no constraints on business, it gives businesses more freedom.

NC has chosen to live in freedom than live in chains, good for them!

That is one distorted bubble you live in, azd. Businesses decide not to do business with bigots and for you, that makes them the bigot. Interesting twist.

People and businesses vote with patronizing or not Patronizing communities, states, other businesses. It's the most sincere form of support or not, when there's money involved. Those who don't want to do business in a climate that discriminates against customers, not as bad customers, but judging them to be unworthy customers due to the businesses' prejudices, deserve to go out of business. Boycotting bad business IS good business.
Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has
