Saw 'The Seven Year Itch' on Nflix for
the umpteenth time since 1955. Never
gets old. Marilyn is such a living doll
it's almost hard to believe. She was 28
in 1954 when it was made, and at the
height of her career.

What's amazing is, she made 90% of her
most famous movies in 1953-54. She
must have been working all the time.

1954 (released in 55)The Seven Year Itch
1954 There's No Business Like Show Business
1954 River of No Return
1953 How to Marry a Millionaire
1953 Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
1953 Niagara

If you were a breathing male in the 50's
you had a crush on Marilyn. She was
even on the first cover of Playboy. In
the movie last night, I bet I said 'what a
doll' out loud a dozen times. Then 3/4
of the way through, the landlord see's
her for the first time and says 'what a doll'
several times. She really did stop you in
your tracks in real life, they say she would
walk into a room and all talking would
stop, with people staring at her.

The most famous scene from the movie,
her getting the big skirt blown up over a
subway grate, didn't look like it did on the
posters at all. You only saw her from the
waist down. The posters were all publicity
shots.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
