We are talking about two atheists here, neither are Christians or Catholics. If they were good and faithful Catholics it goes without saying that they would NEVER even imagine doing what they did. It is well after they rejected and persecuted the Church that killing millions and millions and millions of people became a viable option for them. You seem to suggest that the Church was responsible for their atrocities, it is exactly the opposite. The Church spoke up for the Jewish people and all those who were killed during the reign of these madmen. Their efforts are widely documented as is the example of one of our great saints, St. Maxilmillan Kolbe. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Hitler never renounced his religion or formally left his the Church, look it up. And you're glossing over my original point that Hitler learned to hate Jews in the Catholic schools he attended. The Church, especially in Europe, was very anti semitic in those days, the Jews got blamed for everything. Even the popes spoke against them. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
