People seem amazed that he is so nonchalantly strolling around without a care in the world. On the other hand, most things that size are not afraid of anything else.

Short grass hides nothing so why would any animal show fear in such a situation. Alligators can go from zero to 35mph and can sustain it enough to catch up with a human if they are so inclined. Normally alligators do not hunt humans, as opposed to crocodiles (recently found in Florida) which do indeed stalk and kill humans. Most alligators hunt in fairly turbid water and in places with tall grass on the banks so they can lurk awaiting unaware prey such as cats, dogs, humans, etc.

Cats, dogs, pythons have stood up to alligators with varying degrees of success, most organisms that escape an alligator attack will die fairly promptly of sepsis.

The recent findings of Nile Crocodiles has people and authorities alarmed.

I'd let him play through.

I used to swim in a canal near my parent's house where a girl lost her arm to a gator. We still went afterwards, though I don't think we mentioned it to my parents.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

There are gators all over the golf courses in Florida. When I hit a ball near a gator, usually right by the water, I just drop a new ball and take a stroke.

I really dislike FL and would never live there.
The few times I've been, I couldn't wait to
leave. Sweating thru my clothes every time
I went outside is not on my fun list.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Perhaps that is why there are so many nudist camps and nude beaches, nude motels.
