But by any standard he grew a successful large multinational brand from a small real estate holding. He was far more self made than HRC, not even close. He is far less self made than BHO. he beat the media, he beat the Dems, he
beat his own party and got elected president.

Being a self-made alpha male is very important, at least to those who live in the real world. It shows a guy who can lead and get things done. Lots of lefties deny how important it is because lets face it, traits of the classical strong, self-confidant male are anathema to liberals. But these qualities are naturally attractive to women and respected by men.
