Happy feast of Sol Invictus!

Or, as you may more commonly know it, Saturnalia.

Happy Christmas to you.

I hardly care it was a pagan festival before a Christian one. It's detail that is unimportant to it being a important date in the Western Calendar, for both Christians and non-Christians a like, to take time out, spend time with loved ones and eat turkey. And I am all for eating Turkey and hanging with my friends.

I always say Happy Holidays
Because I use this term, it in no way means I am at war with any other term

I see Starbucks changed the design of their Holiday cup
There are actually people angry about this
Incredible
Why are they angry?
War on Christmas. lol
Really sad.
Its much ado about nothing

It says nothing about Saturnalia or even Sol Invictus, yet we don't hear any pagans complaining.

For that matter it makes no allusion to Hanukah, either. It must be an anti-Semitic conspiracy of some sort.

As a Christian, I could give two craps about a corporation distancing themselves from Christmas. I like to see commercialism taken out of Christmas. Corporations like SBUX, if they are smart, will be slaves to the dollar, which means it will design its company around profits. If the "red cup" manages to sway a total number of Christian + non-christian dollars around the holidays vs its Reindeer and Ornament cup (none of which has anything to do with Christ) then go for it.

Christmas was a holiday and the Jews simply resurrected some minor holiday and started to pump that up in the media and then along came the Blacks who simply concocted a non-existent holiday for a continent that never had any uniform practices or written language and suddenly Kwanzaa was born with its extra "a" most likely due to a word processing error.
