Any truth to the rumors that Etihad will be purchased lock, stock and delivery commitments.

As Emirates and Etihad are both based in United Arab Emirates (population less than 10 million), and Etihad has been losing money big time, there was a rumor reported that Emirates was going to purchase Etihad. Etihad has 74 twin aisle jets but only 29 are the type that Emirates currently flies. But Emirates could be persuaded to fly the 21 B787-9s, but they would probably sell the rest of the fleet.

Wow Air in Iceland has returned four jets to their leasing company this week. They have only 1 dual aisle jet left. They have made an agreement to be acquired by a USA firm in Phoenix that has ownership stakes in multiple LCC airlines in Mexico, Canada, Hungary and Chile as well as Frontier Airlines in the USA.

This route map will have to be updated because it is unlikely they can fly to India and California without widebody aircraft.
