He was not acting violent.

Yes he was. He charged a stage and disrupted things. That is violence where I come from. Liberals love such violence. They call the guy a hero. They expect conservatives to sit still and take these disruptions.

Fine don't believe me. I've always been a straight shooter on this board. I've revealed a lot about myself on this board. I've met members. I don't think anybody doubts my honesty here.
Its no game. I voted for Bush and Dole.

No, I do not believe it. I believe you may have changed your views over the years. When I was young and dumb I believed the Democrats were the working-man's party looking out for the average guy. But to say you are registered GOP? Why are you registered with a party you hate? Only reason I can see people doing that is to maybe join a country club and have to fit in. It is if Vince Lombardi said "you know, I am actually a big Bears fan!"

The violence against a non-violent protester is a far worse crime

The guy was not non-violent, he was disruptive. Liberals disrupting conservative speakers is a two decade long pattern in the USA. About time such a reaction happened.

That is not the view the Trump campaign takes
They announce ahead of time that there may be protest disrupters
The Trump campaign makes it clear to their supporters that protesters have rights and are not to be touched in any way
Supporters are instructed to chant Trump over and over to any protesters
The Trump campaign announces at their rally's that protesters are not to be touched

The incident we are discussing, the protester committed a misdemeanor
The police were in control of the individual and he was being escorted out
The puncher committed a felony
Big diff
But anyway its illogical to support violence simply due to how left or right somebody is
I expect illogical thinking from you
You have to be illogical to be a conservative, you prove it here on this board all the time

Megyn Kelly Told Investigators In Roger Ailes Probe He Harassed Her

Quote:
According to two sources briefed on parent company 21st Century Fox’s outside probe of the Fox News executive, led by New York–based law firm Paul, Weiss, Kelly has told investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox. Kelly, according to the sources, has described her harassment by Ailes in detail.

Bye Bye Roger.

Yes I am sure she is telling the unadulterated truth. Just like any reporter/newscaster I have ever heard ;-)

What benefit would Megyn get out of lying about this? He's her boss. He made her the star of FOX News and gave her the coveted 9pm timeslot...

JFC, how pathetic. From the link, "Kelly has told investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago "

TEN YEARS AGO, ten. Now it's a problem? FML

And then, "Ailes a deadline of August 1 to resign or face being fired for cause. " Has until Aug. to resign or be fired for cause". WTF is the matter with this country? If someone needs firing for cause, fire them. Tell them to get their things, and get off the property. That is like shooting somebody and the cops give you two weeks to turn yourself in or they will issue a warrant.

Sexual advances ten years ago. How far back can they go? I made some sexual advances that weren't welcomed 40 years ago, but I didn't know they weren't welcomed until I asked. The problem I see here, and I've said it before....Don't fish from the company pier.

They are just trying to see if Gretchen Carlson's complaints have merit. So naturally they will ask other pretty blonde ladies who work for Roger if they have experienced anything similar to what Gretchen claims happened to her.

They are not trying to go after Roger based on what Megyn said he did 10 years ago.

I guess you get special privileges when you run the #1 cable news channel.

As I understand it, they did not want to fire him during the conventions. The Democratic convention will be over by Aug. 1.

The law as it stands, doesn't get you on simple offensives.

https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/types/sexual_harassment.cfm

Quote:
It is unlawful to harass a person (an applicant or employee) because of that person’s sex. Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.

Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, however, and can include offensive remarks about a person’s sex. For example, it is illegal to harass a woman by making offensive comments about women in general.

Both victim and the harasser can be either a woman or a man, and the victim and harasser can be the same sex.

Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).

The harasser can be the victim's supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a client or customer.

Places I have worked, I and others were issued literally the keys to the power grid. When someone got fired, the boss would keep the employee within reach until the keys were returned.

I chuckle at times when people talk about getting fired, and a couple of weeks warning. Ailes knows where to many bodies are buried. I would like to have 1% of his severance package when he gets, "fired". lol

I think the problem is flirting with underlings at corporate. At work we were warned about it. But downtown, different story. It is a shame a guy with his money would lean on women for sex, when with his power, his desires could easily be satiated. It probably isn't sex the predators want anyway?
