However, even those who believe in the false god Kali or any other one are still leaps and bounds ahead of anyone crazy enough to think there are no gods?!? You seem to be saying fairly non-chalantly that you just believe in one less god than I do and that I don't believe in Kali for the same reasons you don't believe in any gods. Meaningless, all believers of their god say he's the true god. Why would they say he wasn't, nobody worships a number 2 god.
That's exactly right. This isn't a contest, there's no rule that says we have to believe in any god. You can't prove Kali doesn't exist, yet you dismiss her out of hand. You can't prove your god exists either, and I dismiss him out of hand. One god at a time and you eventually end up with none having any evidence of existing. Man is the creator. Of gods. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Golly, so if ISIS succeeded in killing off all the Christians, atheists and others because of their religious beliefs, they would be less crazy than us atheists alone? They would be leaps and bounds ahead of us atheists? New premise -- believing in gods does not qualify you to be sane or rational even one iota above atheists. NO connection at all. See above. Well said. The logical stance in any argument is to assume the negative until there is evidence for the positive. It's logical to say there is no god until evidence shows there is one. And so far there's no real evidence at all. None. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
