I've seen this run as a points system. You subtract the decedent's age from 100, encouraging/rewarding the folks who really take chances.

Jiroemon Kimura (world's oldest man)
Andy Reid (former Eagles coach)
Bashar al-Assad (President of Syria)
HAKIMULLAH MEHSUD (FBI's most wanted terrorist)
Hillary Clinton (Secretary of State)
Ed Koch (former Mayor of New York)
Dr. Jerry Buss (Los Angeles Sports Team Magnate)
Don Rickles (Perhaps the funniest man alive)
Debbie Reynolds (Actress, former hotel/casino owner)
Anderson Cooper (Reporter)

So under that system, would you lose points for picking this guy (currently 115 years old)?

Yep. Cherry picking the century+ list for ringers takes all the drama out of it. Apparently, there is another contender for oldest surviving person in China, but I took her name off my list since there is a good chance she could last the year, and would probably not get an AP write up.

Well, if you want to get challenging, maybe next time try an "Under 50" list. No one older allowed.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Hehe, you could also do it as all selections must be at least 90, with points awarded if the folks on your list survive the year. A "Live Pool".

Playing a game based on people dying is immoral and at the very least in bad taste. That being said, here are my picks.

Rush Limbaugh
Fidel Castro
Billy Graham
GHW Bush
Nelson Mandela
James Earl Jones
Bob Dole
Bill Cosby
Nancy Reagan
Nelson Mandela

I didn't take into account if age was factored in scoring.

Huell Howser, California TV Legend, Passes Away :-(

Not sure if he would count, I don't see an AP wire yet. I only know about him from listening to the Adam Carolla podcast, unsure if anyone else, who doesn't live in California, would even recognize the name.

Do you get points twice if someone comes back as zombie, and has to be put down again?
