No clue. I've never seen a match, really, just parodies about it. Football is a 60 minute game that takes three hours to play out. The math is simple: ~180 minutes total time 60 minutes playing time Ergo 2/3 of what you watch during a football game is not the game you're watching. Not sure if that was proof as per your QED. When Sesame Street was developed for preschool children (an easily bored group if there ever was one) the research showed that what the kids watched on TV was the commercials. Hence the development of very short skits. Football is like that just short sections of action so you don't have to concentrate too long and then get back to what ever else you are doing at the same time as watching the game. Hard to do on live TV. You'd need negative spatial speed to generate faster temporal speed. I'm not sure it would be cost effective to do so... Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |
