But you keep telling me to use logic to discover God, but when I do, he's beyond my knowledge.

Put it this way, as a salesman, God and the trinity are doing a pretty bad job of making the sale. In a market they set up, and they control.

Nevermind, I feel like I am just wasting my time asking about semantics of the words in the Bible, a book I don't consider as an ultimate truth, to some poor Catholic Priest who no doubt has better things to do.

And always will be, that's the point. He
doesn't exist, what knowledge can there
be.

Religions like Catholicism are a game.
Their goal is to work at you and get
you to admit any of a few key things.
The biggest is sin, if you admit that
sin exists and you're a sinner, that
you offend god with your thoughts and
actions, they have you.

You have no place to go with this sin,
you're doomed. If you really think
god is unhappy with you, what can
you do but sign up to be 'saved'.

Suggestion is a powerful thing. It's very
primitive, we discovered how to to
manipulate people with it thousands of
years before we ever invented anything
useful with science. The Church invented
sin and institutionalized guilt and has
been paying the rent with it ever since.

Question all of it, sin especially, if you
want to stay of the Church's iron grasp.
