is Trump trying to lose?

The biggest victims of this decision are the GOP Congressmen who need revenue from the Trump Victory Fund.
Wow, he has totally screwed the GOP! I wouldn't label him a "traitor," though, ("saboteur" is a more accurate description) because from the get-go Trump was never a genuine Republican... he just played one on TV. How is it that so many Trump apologists (Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter) continue to be fooled by this fraud? Are they in on the scam? |

I think most of the die-hard Trump supporters haven't been duped as much as they have been revealed. This goes as well for many of his regular supporters (but not all). Remove the fig-leaf of refusal to behave or speak "PC," and it's clear the man is a bigot, and contemptuous of the handicapped and women. And it's not as though he has advocated any brilliant policies, or really much of any policies at all, to overcome any personal failings. Assuming the first two years of Clinton's term goes well, we'll see many Republicans in the mid-term elections having to defend themselves against attack ads showing them close to Trump. That's about the level of intelligence of the Trump campaign. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

"speak against," (1570s) contraception (n) "against" conception. (1886) contra- definition: word-forming element meaning "against, in opposition," from Latin adverb and preposition contra |

"It's hard to tell with Trumps." Paraphrasing The Brain. I wonder whose idea the satanic hand sign was. It's not quite right, as the middle and ring fingers ought to be folded with the thumb across them. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

But consider the free publicity that a major party Presidential nominee can get: he's on the front page of almost every newspaper in America almost every day for almost a year. How many billions of dollars in free advertising is that? Even if his vile racist politics only appeal to 10% or 20% of Americans, thats millions of people being reminded daily of how awesome Donald J. Trump is. The question for Trump is how to parlay that free advertising into revenue for Trump?
To clarify: he isn't spending $70 million per month to win the election. No, he's spending $70 million per month to build a database of Facebook fans to sell crap to after the election. (I'm not sure why that would cost $70 million per month, but it must be a fancy database. The best.) And most importantly Donald will own it, not those gullible fools over at the RNC. |

If that's what he's doing, then $70 million per month is how he bankrupts his companies. He reminds me of Gregor MacGregor, a Scotsman who scammed lots of people. First to get them to help out in Bolivar's wars of independence, then to sell non-existent lands in the Americas. The latter scam actually killed people, but the bastard died of old age and a free man. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Apparently someone is working on a conservative media start-up in Manhattan and employees at Fox News have been contacted for auditions. Is this mysterious project in any way associated with Donald Trump? Total coincidence?

If Trump was focused, disciplined, and genuinely motivated, he could pull it off! These swing-state numbers change constantly but as I write this, Nate Silver projects that: Trump has a 51% chance of winning Florida Trump has a 68% chance of winning Ohio Trump has a 50% chance of winning North Carolina Not bad! At this moment Nate Silver projects Trump is still 26 electoral college votes short of winning. But the point is that Romney lost by 64 electoral college votes, and McCain lost by 97. If Trump wasn't distracted with this media side project, he could beat Hillary. But his priorities are all messed up. If I was a Republican, I'd be furious he's handing it to Hillary. |
