Sounds like where I live Fleastiff other than the alligators. I will match the Grizzly Bears in my area against your gators but probably only because I never deal with them I would be more scared of the gators.

Seeing as a grizzly is more likely to rush you, I feel safer around alligators. I used to go out in a rubber raft around gators in Florida.

Gators take care of careless people, like if you're an idiot and sit down in front of one. That's probably a good thing though.

Gators are nothing to be afraid of. I love going kyaking and gator hunting with my camera. Of course I keep my distance, they are wild animals
On the flip side, size is everything to a Gator.
They are interested in small. They have no interest in large such as an adult person. If swimming in a river and see a gator in the river. Swim underwater so the gator sees your size and it will lose interest.
Dont ever feed gators. They lose their fear of humans and may go after a small child

Don't forget, if you see a gator in the river while swimming it could be one someone has been hand feeding. Which means it may come right at you.

I know they warn people about feeding them periodically, but you know how that goes.

The water is rarely clear enough, being brinish and who knows what, to see what's swimming around you for very far. At least where I lived growing up.

Of course my mom would have killed me if the alligators didn't if she saw where we swam sometimes.

I guess it is the devil you know. I have fished for salmon on one side of the river with multiple grizzlies doing the same thing on the other side. They pretty much ignored me, I kept an eye on them.

It's weird to me how much money the Fast and Furious movies make overseas. On paper, I don't see much that would seem to appeal to an overseas market. As of this weekend, Fate of the Furious has only made $215 million in the US. That's not that great.... but the foreign box office has been huge.

Marvel, on the other hand, has been known to cater certain aspects of their movies to China to help boost their foreign box office. I know Iron Man 3 had extra scenes added with Chinese actors for the release in China.

Now that the Fate of the Furious has been out 10 weeks, revenue numbers are almost final. USA and Canada is still the most important market as the studio keeps 50%, but the even retaining 25% of China is almost as good. But the movie translated fairly well into almost every country in the world.

The film has fallen just short of domestic ticket sales for the original film 16 years ago. But foreign ticket sales went from $63 million to $1013 million.

Domestic ticket sales estimated
6/22/01 The Fast and the Furious 25.54 million
4/14/17 The Fate of the Furious 25.46 million

Millions for The Fate of the Furious

$225.1 USA and Canada

$392.8 China
$41.8 Brazil
$37.5 United Kingdom
$36.3 Mexico
$35.6 Japan
$32.5 Germany
$29.9 France
$28.8 Russia - CIS
$26.7 South Korea
$21.4 Taiwan
$21.4 Australia
$20.8 Argentina
$19.8 India
$19.3 Indonesia
$16.4 Italy
$14.5 Spain
$12.7 Colombia
$12.2 Malaysia
$11.5 Panama
$10.2 United Arab Emirates
etc.

I've tried to watch a couple F&F movies
and never made it past 20min. Boring
and juvenile with terrible acting and
lack of good scripts. I guess if you're
19 they're entertaining, I wouldn't
know.

In 2016 Disney earned an unprecedented all top five spots in world wide box office revenue. The bombs like Alice, BFG and The Finest Hours were barely noticed.

1 $1,153.3 Captain America: Civil War
2 $1,056.1 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
3 $1,028.6 Finding Dory
4 $1,023.8 Zootopia
5 $966.6 The Jungle Book (2016)
11 $677.7 Doctor Strange
12 $643.0 Moana
30 $299.5 Alice Through the Looking Glass
46 $183.3 The BFG
60 $143.7 Pete's Dragon (2016)
107 $52.1 The Finest Hours
134 $26.0 The Light Between Oceans
176 $10.4 Queen of Katwe

This year they got the #1 spot again, but then on to #6. Since Star Wars will certainly make the top 5 if not #1, then I guess what do you think will happen to the new Thor and Coco?

1 $1,262.9 Beauty and the Beast (2017)
6 $863.4 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
8 $794.2 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
18 $367.9 Cars 3

Oct 31 Thor: Ragnarok (#10 in 2013 - Thor: The Dark World)
Nov 21 Coco (#12 in 2016 - Moana)
Dec 12 Star Wars: The Last Jedi (#1 in 2015 - Star Wars: The Force Awakens)
