I foolishly had my awning put up last week. Now covered in ice. If it collapses I will only have myself to blame. On Tuesday we are supposed to get more snow, but temperature is supposed to be over 32.

The average high is 60 next week. The
temps are killing the winter wheat crop,
which is planted in the Fall and comes
up in the Spring.

95 in the Midwest today and all
weekend. Stupid hot and humid
out. Is this the 4th of July weekend
or is it next week. The campgrounds
in MI are jammed, and we have a
bajillion of them. Better them than
me.

Yesterday, Phoenix had their 109th day without rain. I think it is a little dryer here on the west side, we didn't get that dab of monsoon that Phoenix got 109 days ago. It's already been over one hundred every day for 2-3 weeks, but as they say "it is a dry heat".

So is the inside of a pizza oven,
but I don't want to live in one..

With a pizza oven, at least you get a pizza.

Dry heat works until about 100F. By the time I left what I called a cool breeze my dad actually compared to opening an oven.

Looked over to my wife the other day when it was 114 and said, the good thing is, it can only get about 10 degrees hotter. So at least, there's that. Crazy, it's burning the paint and some of the trim off of my pick up. I'm on my 4th complete set of 10 ply tires in 60k miles on my truck. Had two catastrophic blow outs, at speed.

I thought modern tire construction
got rid of blow outs. How does
a tire with steel belts in it blow out.
