If there were no church built around it, but it were a mere spot of dirt with a plaque attesting to the effect, what could anyone possibly feel? Awe? At a spot of dirt?

I can show you many places in BC Nareed that I feel awe about a piece of dirt. Some are very high (mountains), some have water near them and others are much more subtle but still produce awe in me. Some I have seen hundreds or even thousands of time.
