The candidate with the most votes will win the election.

Trump 306
Clinton 232

Winner take all by popular vote is
how banana republics keep the
same families in power for decades.
The elections are very easy to rig,
as they would be here if we had
them. We have 51 separate elections,
we vote for electors, not candidates.

It doesn't matter, they would have to
change the constitution and that won't
happen. There is no better way have
an election, that's why it will never change.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Oh come now, that's intellectually dishonest. You and I both know that the candidate with the most ballots cast doesn't win the election in this case (or others). There's reasons why of course. You also know full well that the EC does not have to be winner takes all in each state, and the founding fathers did NOT legislate that.

Not dishonest at all. States could easily split up the electors. Most often the idea is winner takes the Senate and the rest by congressional district. However, states usually do not even consider this. The result would be awful for the Democrats as most safe Democrat states are safe because of one (IL) or a few (PA 1992-2012) metro areas that throw it all to the Democrat candidate. So if they were split we would stay up later once every 4 years but liberals that are crying now would really be up in arms.

The EC does have a problem where the voting power in one state is three times that in another state. 500,000 people vote per EC seat in California versus 142,000 in Wyoming. That means a vote gained in Wyoming is almost three times more powerful than in California (due to the EC being set by 2 + representatives.. small population states get a proportionally bigger say in the president than large population states).

Well, this is by design. The system is supposed to balance interests of small and large states. We learned this in government class. Of course there are unintended consequences. CA gets at least some EC weight due to illegal aliens residing there. But you never hear about this.
The President is a fink.

Hillary was all smiles yesterday as she
looks about 75 years old, grinning
hypocritically while breaking her own
pledge of accepting the election results.
Newt says she's in such denial she'll
grab at the thinnest of thin straws for
anything that might get her in the WH
and over the embarrassment of losing two
presidential runs to a black guy and a
TV reality show host.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Wow, Bob, the hatred! Does she look like someone you propositioned in a bar and laughed at you? Is that why?

Or is it because he's played you, Bob?

Rush said something brilliant today, as
only he can.

"This is the great reality of the 2016 election. All these past eight years and maybe even longer, I’ll admit, I’ve been under the impression — and I’m sure many of you have, too — that whatever imbalanced, unhinged, deranged, mean-spirited, whatever oddball behavior by the Democrats, they got away with it. They were never held accountable, never called on the carpet for it. They were never, ever penalized for their hypocrisy. What we didn’t know was that all of these years a majority of the American people have been paying attention, been disapproving of it. And given the first chance to actually vote for somebody that had no part of it, they did."

We just got sick and tired of it, we
were paying attention all along.
Enough is enough.

Rush doesn't know what a majority is. It's not the electoral college win, Rush Bimbo-baugh.

Yea, rush is confused.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Are you sure you were head of a debate team? Maybe it was the raking leaves team.

OMG, I just saw Ivanka bobbing her head
to the music! She's autistic too, it must
run in the family. Call CNN, quick. (snicker)

Throw out CA and the nation is totally sick and tired of their nonsense. The Democrat Brand is as damaged as can be. Hollywood celebs and liberal pols are wondering what on earth is going on. The rest of the nation took the keys from them and said let an adult drive.
The President is a fink.
