The Trump implosion thread!

I've read a couple of pieces and a few FB posts suggesting Golden Boy wants to be impeached.

Let's not go down that road again. Remember in September last year the deluge of opinions that Trump wanted to lose the election?

Golden Boy is highly irrational, but he's not insane (at least not yet). If he wanted to lose the election, why run? If he loathes his current job so much, why not resign? Not even the flimsiest pretext for resignation is one tenth as undignified as being removed through the impeachment process.

He doesn't want to be impeached. He doesn't want to resign, either. He wants his chaotic, incompetent, clueless, ignorant, reckless way of doing things to work for his current job. He'll crash and burn attempting to do prove it.

I think America now knows how the Romans felt when they were ruled by the likes of Nero, Commodus and Caligula.

I don't think it's unwarranted to demand that Golden Boy undergo a rigorous psychiatric and neurological evaluation to determine whether he's fit to continue to hold his current job.

Seriously. Ronald Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few years after he left office. He might or might not have suffered from the beginnings of the associated dementia while still in office. The difference is Reagan had a really good idea of what the job entailed, what he wanted to accomplish, and how to conduct the business of his office. Still, his last few years were mired in scandal.

Given the unending scandals going on at Trump's WH, one wonders whether something more serious than mere incompetence is going on.

Golden Boy should get one that says "The Buck Never Even Passes Through Here. SAD!"
