President Bush won 73% of all primary votes, with 9,199,463 votes. Buchanan won 2,899,488 votes. Perot never considered a primary challenge, but always intended to run as an independent. I honestly think that many DJT critics are hoping that Trump will simply grow weary of politics, and decide to return to making money. If the Democrats eke out a victory in the House in 2018, and manage to impeach and drive Trump out of office they may be in for a nasty surprise. Pence would become POTUS for less than two years of Trump's turn. If he succeeds in turning the power of incumbency into an election win, he will still be eligible to run a second time. Mike Pence is only age 58, so he could easily be POTUS for a decade. |

Maybe the WSJ is onto something with their Peter W Smith story. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

You can "play the media" without making nasty personal remarks. I can't see how anyone can find the recent tweet about the bloody woman acceptable. Certain things are out of bounds even when "playing the media." Kate's law passed the House. It looks like am earlier version of it did not made it past cloture in the Senate. It can't pass that hurdle without Dem votes. The House version did get Dem votes. |

And your point is what. Those two spend their whole show trashing Trump, and at one time they were friends. So he strikes back, so what. It's presidential, he's the president. I love it, this is what we need in this country. Screw all the ass kissing rhetoric of politics, fight down and dirty when you have to. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

My point is that the game of manipulating the media is just fine--they are no longer just reporting the news; they are trying to make the news fit their agenda. You have to do that WITHOUT making anyone you are attacking a sympathetic figure. Talking about blood, periods, whatever...that is something this master manipulator should avoid. It is not Presidential...how can I call out other Presidents for actions beneath the dignity of the office and just let President Trump do anything he pleases? |

I'm old enough to remember when EB was furious at Obama for mildly criticizing Fox News. Called him a "whiner." Donald literally attempts to blackmail two MSNBC hosts because they speak truth to power, and EB loves it. Donald forces his supporters the become the biggest hypocrites ever on EVERY SINGLE ISSUE. Sure it is, a president did it. There is no rule book, Trump can do what he likes. Clinton got BJ's from an intern in the Oval, was the press screaming it wasn't 'presidential'? Hell no, they said it was none of our business. Obama spent a huge amount of time bowling and shooting hoops in the WH, how 'presidential' was that. If Trump wants to embarrass and deride those that constantly curse his presidency, good for him. The only reason other presidents didn't do it is they were terrified of tarnishing their precious legacy. Trump could care less about that. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Also, Trump's Presidency is illegitimate and he has never had any chance of leaving a good legacy since day 1. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Yeah, unfortunately he won't be able to buy a good legacy. That would be the only possibility to acquire one. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
