Wow. Just imagine how low his approval ratings would be if Dems knew how to attack him properly!

I like this article from Yahoo today, ex Pres. Jimmy Carter gives opinion on Trump. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/jimmy-carter-gives-donald-trump-154716630.html

He tells Trump to be honest. Trump should listen to Carter about MENA and NK, where Carter visited 3 times.

Meanwhile illegal arms trade continues to Syrian "rebels", AQ, ISIS, NUSRA, etc. Pentagon exposed scrubbing evidence of end destination of millions of arms. http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/the-pentagon-s-2-2-billion-soviet-arms-pipeline-flooding-syria-09-12-2017

Rush spent a whole hour on this today.
How Trump is terrifying his own party
by doing an end run with Chuck and
Nancy. And the public, even Dems, are
loving it. He's having dinner with them
again tonight.

Trump likes to get things done, it's his
thing. If he has to go to the Dems to do
it, that's fine with him. He's not a politician,
nobody can seem to get that thru their
heads.

The thing is, the Democrats didn't help elect him. Sooner or later he needs Republicans to pass legislation.

Theoretically, I could see him working with Democrat politicians in Congress to pass an infrastructure spending bill, maybe even a couple other bills.

But no matter how many Democrat bills he signs into law, most liberal voters like me will never, ever vote for him in 2020. Among many many reasons, I will never forgive him for being a birther.

I hope so.

For now his sycophants have turned from "Damned GOP Senators are talking about working with the DemoRATS to "Brilliant Trump made a deal with the Democrats!"

But once they take him to the cleaners a couple of times, that may finally undercut his support.

Trump is his own worst enemy. We, as number two, must try harder :)

Trumps already has a reputation for turning on a dime, forgetting people who helped him get somewhere. Christie found that out among others. Trumps acts like a dick to them, and 99% of them take it like paddled frat boys, pretending they like it.

Democrats will have no problem stabbing him in the back (and the front) when he abandons them again. Ain't no true love here.

Looks like this may not be going Trump's way.

Quote:
Former national security adviser Susan Rice privately told House investigators that she unmasked the identities of senior Trump officials to understand why the crown prince of the United Arab Emirates was in New York late last year, multiple sources told CNN.

The New York meeting preceded a separate effort by the UAE to facilitate a back-channel communication between Russia and the incoming Trump White House.
The crown prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, arrived in New York last December in the transition period before Trump was sworn into office for a meeting with several top Trump officials, including Michael Flynn, the president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and his top strategist Steve Bannon, sources said.

The Obama administration felt misled by the United Arab Emirates, which had failed to mention that Zayed was coming to the United States even though it's customary for foreign dignitaries to notify the US government about their travels, according to several sources familiar with the matter. Rice, who served as then-President Obama's national security adviser in his second term, told the House Intelligence Committee last week that she requested the names of the Americans mentioned in the classified report be revealed internally, a practice officials in both parties say is common.

Rice's previously undisclosed revelation in a classified setting shines new light on a practice that had come under sharp criticism from the committee chairman, California Rep. Devin Nunes, and President Donald Trump, who previously accused Rice of committing a crime.

But her explanation appears to have satisfied some influential Republicans on the committee, undercutting both Nunes and Trump and raising new questions about whether any Trump associates tried to arrange back-channel discussions with the Russians.

"I didn't hear anything to believe that she did anything illegal," Florida Rep. Tom Rooney, a Republican helping to lead the panel's Russia invesigation, told CNN of Rice's testimony. He declined to discuss any of the contents of her classified remarks.

Who cares, he's there to get things done, that's
what he does. He loves it. He'll do what he has
to do, which is more than Obama ever did. He
flatly refused to reach across the aisle, his 2
terms were one big lifeless fart of accomplishing
next to nothing. People are sooo self righteous
now. They want what they want, but they don't
want to see how the sausage is made.
