Of course it's a joke.

Everyone knows his IQ tests are being audited, and he can't release them.

This is relevant again since Trump is planning on repealing the clean power plan executive order.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/09/climate/clean-power-plan.html

Quote:
“We’ve ended the war on beautiful, clean coal, and it’s just been announced that a second, brand-new coal mine, where they’re going to take out clean coal – meaning, they’re taking out coal, they’re going to clean it – is opening in the state of Pennsylvania.”

In case anyone doesn't know, "clean coal" doesn't involve actually cleaning the coal, it is about capturing and attempting to sequester the emissions from coal burning.

They are replaying some older interviews on the radio, too.
in 2014, 76,572 people were employed by the coal industry.1
in 2016, it was 65,9712

for comparison:
Bowling - 69,0881
Skiing - 75,0361
Whole Foods - 72,6501
Arby's - 80,0001
Dollar General - 105,0001
J.C. Penney - 114,0001
Walmart - 2,200,0001

Solar Power Industry - 260,0772

Restoring high paying coal jobs isn't going to happen. from its peak of over 850,000 jobs in 1923, it was down to 173,700 in 19853 during the Reagan years and was falling rapidly

It was after one of these meetings that Tillerson called Trump a moron.

It's doable.

First he needs to call a Constitutional Convention and amend the constitution so that the USA can become an absolute monarchy. Next he has to get himself crowned King Orange Twit The First. Then he can do whatever he wants.

No big deal, except the necessary amendments need to pass Congress first. But, hey, Le Petite Poseur has a stellar record of passing controversial and complex legislation, right? Shouldn't take more than a short week.

Here is a story about that and his Orwellian statements:

Republicans, true conservatives, and advocates of a smaller government with limited interference and regulation must be so proud.

It's also clear that "fake news" means to him anything that he doesn't agree with.

In the Trump vs. Corker battle, who's got the leverage?

Trump can't afford to alienate any of those 52 GOP Senate votes if he wants to accomplish anything legislatively. When Trump takes shots at Jeff Flake or Mitch McConnell, he knows that those guys can't fight back too hard because they have to answer to the voters-- ie, Trump supporters who live in their district.

But Corker? He already announced he's retiring, he's got nothing to lose because he has no voters to pander to. And he's Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. And he's egotistical.

If Trump actually wants to sign any bills into law, then Corker has both motive and opportunity to really screw Trump. And if that happens, what's Trump's recourse to get revenge on Corker? Trump's only weapon is his Twitter account.
