If conducting a meeting well is saying yes to everything he heard without having the first clue what he agreed to, just for the 20 second sound byte crowd, I guess it was a good meeting. That is what matters, right? How things look?

For the Republicans, it was a disaster, and they're freaking out at all the things he gave away ON CAMERA. They're having a cow tonight, all fractured over different parts and trying to regroup.

These tell-all books never have the impact that you'd think. In the end these books are just gossip. It may be true, it may be partly true or it may be complete rubbish. There is no basis other than the author's reputation to assess the credibility of the work as a whole. He says he has audio and video but until he produces it his claims remain uncollaborated. It will sell well but do you think it's the kind of source a historian would be interested in 100 years from now? Anyone remember "Unlimited Acess"?

Yes, actually. A hundred years from now, or sooner, scholars will debate whether it was Trump's policies that brought him down, or the political chaos inside the White House, or the leaks, or some book written at the time.
