He's had to cancel his trip to London next week because he's so unwelcome, along with the millions of angry protesters they expected. This latest "shit storm" just added volume and amplitude to the unwelcomeness.

Trump blamed Obama for the cancellation, saying it was because of his decision to close the old embassy, a bad wasteful decision, and the new one didn't deserve him going to open it.

Bush made the decision Oct 2008, and it was because of security concerns. They needed a better building.

WSJ is reporting Trump lawyer Cohen paid a porn star $130,000 to keep her mouth shut about relations she had with Trump in 2006. He married Melania in 2005, for reference. The NDA was signed in 2016, after she started talking about theit relations during the campaign.

Cohen also arranged for her to get an additional $150,000 thru the National Enquire as advance pay for some articles she was supposed to write. No articles were ever published. Try to imagine how badly they must have been written, for that illiterate rag not to publish them. Assuming they were ever written.

That dossier's looking more likely true every day. Diane Feinstein was asked, just before that other thing blew up, whether their committee had seen anything false in it. She said everything they've checked so far has been true.

Which makes Trump extremely vulnerable to blackmail, not just from the Russians, but for any of his more embarrassing actions. I would consider the porn star situation blackmail under a slightly more polite name. She started to blab, he paid, she went away.

Correction: the $150K was paid to a second woman , a Playboy centerfold, not the same porn star. The rest of that paragraph should be accurate.

People may think the leaks only come from partisan opponents. But I doubt it. IMO, some people come to the conclusion that the country is more important than anything else. Which is a good thing.

On the plus side, the US Embassy in GB can display a signs that says "No longer affiliated with Donald Trump."
