Forbes includes the value of Trump's brand in its calculations.

Nope nope nope...

"Trump himself has suggested his net worth is upwards of $10 billion, though that includes the value he assigns to the Trump brand. Forbes, which has tracked Trump’s wealth for more than three decades, analyzes hard assets only.. Commercial properties, private residences, his licensing businesses, and cash."

Forbes does NOT include brand value
in it's net worth calculations of any
person.

Trump has famously suggested that his brand itself is worth several billion dollars. But Forbes does not assign any dollar value to the brand in its calculations. “Great businessmen turn brands into profits, which then get valued,” write Forbes reporters Chase Peterson-Withorn and Jennifer Wang.

Question: why would Trump's brand have any value at all once sold to a non-Trump? It's no longer Trump. And the Trump licensed hotels are trying to dump his brands (link) and frankly I find it disturbing that he (his family) is still capitalizing on his name by licensing Trump to other hotels.

CBS News among other agencies report that the value of his brand is shrinking (link), (link), and link, for example.

Trump University has no value as do Trump steaks, Trump Ice, and Trump casinos for that matter. His clothing line took a dump as did his beds when Macys and Serta dropped him.

Why do any of the companies that Kraft has
bought in the last 40 years still hold the same
brand appeal they had before they were sold.
Maxwell House, Cool Whip, Kool Aid, Oscar
Mayer, Cheese Whiz, A-1 Steak Sauce, and
literally on and on. Because it's the BRAND that
has the following and appeal. not who owns
it.

Maybe Trump was misheard. Is it possible he actually said my administration is a shithole? Maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt. That definitely sounds more correct.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Google "Trump brand value" for some interesting reading.

Here is one: https://www.inc.com/erik-sherman/trump-organization-value-plummets-by-90-dangers-of-branding.html

"On the up side for the Trump brand, the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. is doing better than anticipated. According to the Washington Post, “Driving the profits are the extraordinary prices guests have been willing to pay for rooms, as well as big spending on food and beverages in the meeting areas, bar and restaurant.”

You do know that Trump Admin is aware of who is booked in there, and people doing business with the administration go there to curry favor, right? Especially those from out of the country. It's all corporate dollars getting written off.

They've been reporting on that aspect since before Trump took office.

Dilly dilly.

That's all that matters, it's a business.

On the down side is of course the 90% drop in value that the article claims.
